Dulquer Salmaan

Dulquer Salmaan is an Indian film actor best known for his work in Malayalam cinema.

Dulquer Salmaan was born onJuly 1986 in Kochi, Kerala, India to actor Mammootty and Sulfath. Dulquer has an elder sister, Surumi. He attended the Sishya School in Chennai, and completed secondary level education from Sishya. Dulquer moved to the US to attend Purdue University at West Lafayette, Indiana. He graduated with a bachelors degree in Marketing from the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University. After graduation, he worked in the U.S. and later moved to Dubai, to do an I.T. related business. He later decided to pursue a career in acting and attended a threemonth course at the Barry John Acting Studio, Mumbai. He stated in an interview that he chose acting because ... somewhere down the lane my life became monotonous and routine, though he never wanted to come into films.
